How to Activate Your Key

This guide explains how to activate the software license key you purchased from klamov (operated by KLAMOV LLC). Please follow the steps for your specific product below.

Before You Start

  • Make sure you have received your delivery email containing your license key, per our Digital Delivery Policy
  • Have your license key ready (keep it private — do not share it with anyone)
  • Ensure your device is connected to the internet, as activation requires contacting Microsoft's servers directly

1. Activating Windows 10 / Windows 11 Pro

Step 1 — Open Settings
Click the Start menu, then select Settings (gear icon), or press Windows key + I.

Step 2 — Go to Activation
Navigate to System > Activation.

Step 3 — Change Product Key
Click "Change product key" and enter the 25-character license key exactly as provided in your delivery email.

Step 4 — Confirm Activation
Click "Next" and follow the on-screen prompts. Windows will contact Microsoft's servers to verify and activate your license. Once complete, you'll see "Windows is activated" under the Activation section.

If you're upgrading from an existing Windows edition (e.g., Home to Pro), the same steps apply — Windows will handle the upgrade automatically once the key is verified.

2. Activating Microsoft Office

Step 1 — Install Office
If you haven't already, download and install Office using the link provided in your delivery email, or from office.com if instructed.

Step 2 — Open Any Office App
Launch Word, Excel, or any other Office application.

Step 3 — Enter Your Product Key
When prompted, select "I have a product key" and enter the 25-character key from your delivery email.

Step 4 — Sign In (if required)
You may be asked to sign in with a Microsoft account to link the license. If you don't have one, you can create one for free during this step.

Step 5 — Complete Activation
Follow the remaining prompts. Once finished, go to File > Account to confirm the status shows "Product Activated."

3. Activating Microsoft 365

Step 1 — Go to office.com
Sign in with a Microsoft account (create one if you don't already have one).

Step 2 — Redeem Your Key
Go to "Install Office" or "Redeem a code" and enter the 25-character key from your delivery email.

Step 3 — Confirm Subscription
Once redeemed, your Microsoft 365 subscription will appear under your account's Services & Subscriptions.

Step 4 — Install Apps
From the same page, click "Install Office" to download and install the full app suite on your device.

4. Confirming Successful Activation

Windows: Settings > System > Activation should show "Windows is activated with a digital license"
Office/365: File > Account should show "Product Activated" under Product Information

5. Common Activation Issues

"This key doesn't work on this device"
Make sure you're entering the key exactly as sent, with no extra spaces. Check whether the key is intended for the specific Windows/Office edition you're installing (e.g., a Windows 11 Pro key won't activate Windows 11 Home).

"We couldn't activate Windows/Office"
Confirm your device is connected to the internet, then try again. Some antivirus or firewall software can block activation servers temporarily.

Key already in use
If you receive this message and you have not shared or resold your key, contact us immediately at contact@klamov.com — this may indicate a delivery or system error on our end, and we will investigate and issue a replacement if needed.
